Gardening is an art form unto itself. It is transformational. The Herndon Swim Club Garden Club, is not an attempt to enroll you in doing yardwork for free. Rather it is intended to allow us to share plant specimens, our own gardening knowledge and tips, our favorite tools, and select a project or two that we want to undertake for the year.
Experienced and unexperienced gardeners, young and old, members and non-members -- All are welcome to come.
We will kick-off the garden club in June, and will plant at the exit end of the pool (near to Herndon Parkway). For this first meeting plantings will be provided. The tentaive plan is to work for two hours, and then share a picnic lunch. Exact schedule will be forthcoming.
